ACITAN®

The Musa Paradisiaca (Musaceae), commonly known as a banana, is widely distributed in various regions of the planet and its fruits have traditionally been used as food. The pseudo stem (pseudostem) of the plant has a rich and varied composition of trace elements, polyphenolic compounds, dietary fiber (50%, this is their greatest contribution to the nutritional value), what gives it a marked antioxidant activity. Recently, important studies have reported that dietary polyphenols have an important biological effect, among which there are the anti-cancer agents, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory. There is evidence to support the hypothesis that the polyphenols in the diet may have a protective effect and therapeutic potential against oxidative damage linked to the pathogenesis.
ACITAN®, produced by LABIOFAM, is a dietary supplement obtained from the psudostem of the banana plant, rich in dietary fiber and trace elements which presents essentially active functions and are involved in the necessary transformations of living matter.
This supplement has been successfully consumed by people suffering from ulcerative colitis, gastritis, gastrointestinal disorders, gastric and duodenal ulcers peptide, among other diseases.
ACITAN® is provided in the Vidatox Program for cancer patients. This product is not present or distributed in Italy. ACITAN® does not presents any interactions with existing cancer therapies.
